Many people ask how I get everything done? I don’t have a good answer! I just try and balance everything as best I can. Im definitely not perfect, but i try my best. When my mom was visiting she said I’m a stepford wife. Thanks mom. Love you too LOL. Well I’m definitely not a stepford wife. Trust me my house says different. And I wouldn’t want to be! My life is chaotic and wild and I wouldn’t have it any other way. We don’t live on a schedule. Never have and until they start school we probably never will!
The one thing I do like to do daily is take the kids outside and play! I know I can’t stand being stuck in the house so I can only imagine them. And when the door opens its like I opened the flood gates LOL. They both were made to be outside. It’s a fight to get them to come back in everyday. Usually one if not both cry.
I grew up in Minnesota and my husband in Idaho and we both love 4-wheeling and he loves dirt bikes so that was one thing we always wanted our children to get into. We started bentleigh off on the tiny green one and he got upgraded this year so hurleigh could have his! They are wild! Running into each other, beni takes it off the curb, it’s crazy. And they absolutely love it!
I was terrified when I thought about having boys. I’m a girl I love makeup and shopping and hate bugs. True girly girl at heart. Having boys though was the best thing that ever happened to me. It grounded me. Made me realize I don’t have to be done up and wear heels every where we go. Bun up and tank top are my mommy go to! Now don’t get me wrong I still like to look good. LOL but it’s helped me come to the reality that it’s not all about looks. It’s about the memories you make.
So remember to remember the small things in life. Don’t take any moment for granted because your hair isn’t right or the kids spilled food on your shirt. They’re going to get big and them you won’t have the chance anymore!
